How to show the heads up display

  1. Click the Tools menu and click Options.
  2. Click the 3D Data View tab.
  3. Check Show Heads up Display to see the Heads up Display on the globe.
  4. Click OK.

    This setting only applies to published maps with 3D globe content.

Tip:

The Heads up Display shows the observer and target positions as well as the distance to the surface and target. The Heads up Display crosshairs are also centered on the globe's pivot point.
