Extended Error Information

Use the ISupportErrorInfo method InterfaceSupportsErrorInfo to determine if the object supports extended error information. If the object supports extended error info, VC++ developers should use the OLE/COM IErrorInfo interface to access the ErrorInfo object. Visual Basic developers should use the global error object Err to retrieve this extended error information.

Interfaces Description
IGxObject (esriCatalog) Provides access to members that are common to all GxObjects.
IGxObjectSortAlwaysOnTop (esriCatalog) Provides access to the interface which makes the GxObject ALWAYS stay at the top of sort list (regardless of sorting order). eg. GxAddAGSConnection.
IGxObjectUI (esriCatalog) Provides access to members that represent the icons and menus for a GxObject.
IGxObjectWizard (esriCatalog) Provides access to members that invokes a wizard associated with the GxObject.
ISupportErrorInfo Indicates whether a specific interface can return Automation error objects.
