IDataset.BrowseName Property

The browse name of the dataset.

Parameters
Name [out, retval]
  Name is a parameter of type BSTR
Name [in]
  Name is a parameter of type BSTR

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Remarks

BrowseName returns file names without their extension. For example, States.shp would appear as States.
