IMapDocument.Close Method

Close the map document.

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

Closes the MapDocument. This sets the DocumentFilename property to an empty string and resets the ActiveView, PageLayout, Map, MapCount, Printer and Thumbnail properties.
