IName.NameString Property

The name string of the object.

Parameters
NameString [out, retval]
  NameString is a parameter of type BSTR
NameString [in]
  NameString is a parameter of type BSTR

Product Availability

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Remarks

The NameString property is reserved for future use. When implemented, it will return a string representation of the locational component of the name object that may be persisted by applications.
