The full or selected extent of a layer.

Parameters pOwner [in] pOwner is a parameter of type LPUNKNOWN bSelectionOnly [in] bSelectionOnly is a parameter of type VARIANT_BOOL ppExtent [out, retval]
ppExtent is a parameter of type IEnvelope
You can utilize the GetOwnerExtent method of the SceneGraph to return the extent of a layer which incorporates its 3D properties. This can be useful, for example, to determine the location of a layer which is draped on a surface.
