Used to set the buffer projection system.

| esriFeatureClassSpatialReference | 1 | Indicating the use of the feature class's spatial reference system for an operation. |
| esriFeatureOptimizedSpatialReference | 2 | Indicating the use of a feature optimized spatial reference system for an operation. |
| esriFeatureSetOptimizedSpatialReference | 3 | Indicating the use of a feature set optimized spatial reference system for an operation. |
