Methods used to place label along line.
| Constant | Value | Description |

| esriMaplexBestPositionAlongLine | 0 | Place the label as best position along the line. |
| esriMaplexBeforeStartOfLine | 1 | Place label before the start of the line. |
| esriMaplexAlongLineFromStart | 2 | Place the label along the line from the start. |
| esriMaplexAlongLineFromEnd | 3 | Place the label along the line from end. |
| esriMaplexAfterEndOfLine | 4 | Place the label after the end of line. |
