Working with animations in 3D

About working with animations in 3D

Animations in three-dimension (3D)—using Globe or Scene—allow you to visualize and analyze your geographic data in a dynamic fashion. In Globe, you can use the animation objects to create the following:
  • A globe camera animation track to animate the globe camera for creating flybys or visualizing the globe from different perspectives.
  • A layer animation track by altering layer properties such as transparency and visibility.
  • A time animation track, which alters the time of the globe display.
The globe camera, layer, and time animation tracks can be played individually or together to create dynamic visual effects.
