IDataServerManagerAdmin.GetGeodatabaseName Method

Returns the Database name from the database file.

Parameters
dataFileName [in]

  dataFileName is a parameter of type BSTR

Available with ArcGIS Engine, ArcGIS Desktop, and ArcGIS Server.

Description

This method returns the name of the Geodatabase inside a database server data file (.mdf).  For Database Servers, the Geodatabase name will also be equal to the name of the .mdf file.
