The Maplex library contains the objects for labeling features using the Maplex Extension. Other Maplex objects can be found in the Carto library.

| IEnumMaplexPlacedLabel | Provides access to an enumeration of placed labels created by Maplex Overposter. |
| IMaplexAnnotateMap | Provides access to members that control the Labeling (annotation) of a map. |
| IMaplexOverposter | Provides access to members that control the Maplex Overposter. |
| IMaplexPlacedLabel | Provides access to members that define a placed label created by Maplex Overposter. |
