Appending equipment features to structure-equipment relationships

As part of maintaining data, you may need to add new equipment features to existing structure-equipment relationships. This could be the result of new equipment being installed on an existing structural feature.

1. Inicie ArcMap.

3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Nautical.
4. Haga clic en el botón Iniciar edición de producción en la barra de herramientas Edición de producción.

   Nota:

   Las ventanas Administrar entidades, Crear atributos, Actualizar atributos o Atributos de metadatos aparecen automáticamente al iniciar la sesión de edición con la herramienta Iniciar edición de producción.

   Sugerencia:

   Si las ventanas Crear atributos, Actualizar atributos o Atributos de metadatos no aparecen al iniciar la sesión de edición, haga clic en el botón Mostrar/ocultar atributos de la ventana Administrar entidades.

5. Click the Relationship Manager button on the Nautical toolbar.

   The Relationship Manager window appears. It is blank by default.

6. You can choose to customize your view. Go to Working with the Relationship Manager window for more information.
7. Select the features you want to add from the data frame.

   Sugerencia:

   Potential equipment features that are spatially colocated with an existing structure feature are listed under the structure feature in the Relationship Manager window. You can add them to the structure feature by right-clicking and clicking Add to Structure.

8. On the main menu, click Edit > Copy.
9. Right-click the structure feature to append to in the Relationship Manager window and click Append.
10. If there are potential equipment features, you can optionally append them by right-clicking the potential equipment features and clicking Add to Structure.
