Roads and Highways is a data management application suite that provides an integrated framework for maintaining highway data with linear referencing systems. The Location Referencing toolbox contains tools for the configuration and management of the LRS.
Tool | Description |
---|---|
Appends event records from a table, layer, or feature class to an existing ArcGIS Roads and Highways event feature class. | |
Calculates and reports the concurrent route segments in an LRS Network. | |
Converts the measure m-values of a dataset from one unit to another. The m-values of the input dataset are modified upon executing this tool. | |
Converts a table to a CSV file. | |
Deletes routes and associated data elements from the LRS Network. | |
Checks routes on the network for gaps between linear events. | |
Checks routes on a network for out-of-range line and point event measures. | |
Checks routes for nonmonotonic calibration of the m-values on vertices. Nonmonotonic calibration occurs when a route does not contain either strictly increasing or strictly decreasing m-values on its vertices. | |
Checks routes on the network for overlaps between linear events. | |
Regenerates shapes for event features registered with an LRS Network. | |
Re-creates shapes and applies calibration changes for route features in an LRS Network. | |
Overlays two or more linear event feature layers against a target network and outputs a feature class or event table that represents the dynamic segmentation of the inputs. | |
Lists changes that have been made to event record measures during a period of time. External systems can use this information at regular intervals to sync to route edits in the ArcGIS Roads and Highways network. | |
Translates the measures (m-values) of events from one linear referencing method (LRM) to another. The output is a new event layer feature class. | |
Builds calibration point features when an advanced linear referencing system already exists in the geodatabase. | |
Generates and updates LRS intersection point features. |
