Changing a tray value depiction from a distance values style to a scale bar style

The Draw Tray To Scale tool allows you to change the tray value depiction of an existing instrument approach profile view that shows distance values to a scale bar style. To be able to convert the distance value tray depiction, the Draw to Scale tray element property needs to be set to True.

Once the tray element has been changed to the scale bar style, you cannot change the tray value depiction back to the distance value style. The instrument approach profile view must be re-created to again create a distance value style tray element.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the main menu, click View > Layout View.
3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Aviation Profile Edit.
4. Click the Draw Tray To Scale button on the Aviation Profile Edit toolbar.

The instrument approach profile view tray element distance values depiction changes to a scale bar depiction.
