Prediction standard errors can easily be accessed for a layer created using any of the kriging methods.
- Right-click the geostatistical layer on the ArcMap table of contents that was created using universal kriging and click Change output to Prediction Standard Error.
The surface showing predicted values is transformed to show prediction standard errors. If you need to see both (overlay the predicted and standard error values), first create a copy of the prediction layer, then change it to show the prediction standard errors.
Prediction standard error maps can be changed back to show the predicted values by following the step above and clicking Change output to Prediction.
