Calculating field values in batch

Production Mapping ライセンスで利用できます。

When you are editing data, the Advanced SQL Calculator tool allows you to calculate the values of a common field across multiple tables in your schema in the current edit workspace.

1. ArcMap を起動します。
2. Load data in the map if necessary.
3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Production Editing.
4. Click the Production Start Editing button on the Production Editing toolbar.

   メモ:

   The Manage Features and Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes windows automatically appear when you start an edit session using the Production Start Editing tool.

   ヒント:

   If the Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes window does not appear when you start an edit session, click the Show/Hide Attributes button on the Manage Features window.

5. Add the Advanced SQL Calculator tool by doing the following:
   1. Click Customize > Customize Mode on the main menu.

      The Customize dialog box appears.

   2. Click the Commands tab.
   3. In the Categories list, click Production Editing.
   4. Click and drag the Advanced SQL Calculator button to a toolbar.
   5. Click Close.
6. Click the Advanced SQL Calculator button .

   The Advanced SQL Calculator dialog box appears.

   

7. Build a query to select features.
8. Right-click any column header in the Advanced SQL Calculator Results window and click Field Calculator to batch calculate the fields in that column.

   ヒント:

   To limit the records that will be processed by the field calculator, select the records in the Advanced SQL Calculator Results window by clicking them and choosing Selected.

   The Field Calculator dialog box appears.

9. Type the new value in the text box or choose a value from the drop-down list for fields that use a coded value domain.

   ヒント:

   To calculate a field to <Null>, type null or none in the text box.

10. [OK] をクリックします。
