Disabling feature-level metadata

Production Mapping ライセンスで利用できます。

While editing features, you might determine that you do not want the features you are editing to be populated with feature-level metadata attributes. If this is the case, you can turn off feature-level metadata. If you do so, the values populated in the feature-level metadata fields when you create new features will be the values stored in the feature template. When you disable feature-level metadata and modify a feature, the values in the feature-level metadata fields will not be updated.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Load data in the map if necessary.
3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Production Editing.
4. Click the Production Start Editing button on the Production Editing toolbar.

   メモ:

   The Manage Features and Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes windows automatically appear when you start an edit session using the Production Start Editing tool.

   ヒント:

   If the Create Attributes, Update Attributes, or Metadata Attributes window does not appear when you start an edit session, click the Show/Hide Attributes button on the Manage Features window.

5. Click the Metadata tab on the Manage Features window.
6. Right-click the Metadata tab and click No Metadata.

   The use of feature-level metadata is disabled.
