An overview of the Validation toolset

The Validation toolset contains tools that validate data for specific ArcGIS Defense Mapping data models and compares feature classes and tables between test and base geodatabases.

Tools in the Validation toolset

Tool	Description
GAIT	Validates data using the Geospatial Analysis Integrity Tool (GAIT), which checks geometry, feature codes, attribute values and domains, and metadata.
Geodatabase Compare	Compares feature classes and tables in a test geodatabase to those in a base geodatabase. This tool also performs an enhanced field comparison between objects in the base and test geodatabases. Results of the comparison are written to an output log file.
