Modifying a unit conversion rule

You should modify the default unit conversion rules if they are different for your business rules.

1. Запустите ArcCatalog.
2. Add the Unit Conversions Definition tool to a toolbar by completing the following steps:
   1. On the main menu, click Customize > Customize Mode.

      The Customize dialog box appears.

   2. Click the Commands tab.
   3. Choose Nautical in the Categories list.
   4. Drag the Unit Conversions Definition button from the Commands list to a toolbar.
   5. Click Close.
3. Click the Unit Conversions Definition button .

   The Unit Conversions Definition dialog box appears.

   

4. Click a row in the Unit Conversions Definition dialog box.
5. Change the name by clicking in the Name cell and typing a new name.
6. Change the factor value by clicking in the Factor cell and typing a new value.
7. Choose the units for the FromUnits column by selecting from the available drop-down list.
8. Choose the units for the ToUnits column by selecting from the available drop-down list.
9. Click OK.
