Deleting an element in the element library

You can delete an element in the database through the Database Element dialog box tree view if it is no longer needed. The Database Elements dialog box provides a user interface for an element library.

You can also delete products and categories, which also removes everything beneath them in the tree view.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. On the menu bar, click Insert > Database Element.

   The Database Element dialog box appears.

3. Navigate to the element you want to delete.
4. Right-click the element and click Delete.

   The Delete Alert dialog box appears.

5. Click Yes.

   The selected element is deleted.

6. Click the Close button.
