The Esri Defense Mapping SDSFIE tools are to be used with data that is based on the Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) 2.x data model to ensure compatibility with ArcGIS for Desktop and Defense Mapping functionality. When compatible, data stored in the SDSFIE 2.x data model can be used with all the editing and quality control tools available within Defense Mapping.
