Exporting to Production PDF

After configuring and saving your color mapping rules, you are ready to export a map or layout to PDF.

You can also preview your map before you export it to PDF.

1. Start ArcMap.
2. Open a map document that contains a layout you want to export to Production PDF.
3. On the main menu, click File > Load Production PDF Settings.

   The Open dialog box appears.

4. Navigate to a Production PDF .xml file.
5. Click Open.

   The .xml file is loaded into the Production PDF environment and the Export Map dialog box appears.

   注:

   After loading production PDF settings, the Export Map dialog box appears automatically with the Production PDF type selected. After closing the dialog box either by clicking Save or Cancel, the previous exporter type is restored.

6. In the File Name text box, type in a name for your PDF export file.
7. Click Save.
