Create Mosaic Dataset From Model

描述

Creates or updates a mosaic dataset from a surface model in the Bathymetric Information System (BIS) workspace.

• This tool will create or update a mosaic dataset that will honor your surface model rules. The mosaic dataset can be used in surface analysis geoprocessing operations or shared as an image service via ArcGIS GIS Server.

  注：

  If the surface model you select in the BIS Model parameter references datasets that were removed from the BIS, the surface model will need to be updated (manually loaded and resaved in the Compose Surface window) before it can be used with this tool.

• For point dataset surface models, a representative raster or proxy raster of each point dataset will be used when creating the mosaic dataset.

arcpy.bathymetry.CreateMosaicDatasetFromModel(bis_workspace, bis_model, out_mosaic, {coordinate_system})

bis_workspace	The BIS that contains the surface model from which the mosaic dataset will be created. This parameter accepts any geodatabase (.gdb) or enterprise database connection file (.sde) that has been registered as a BIS and that is on the latest version.	Workspace

out_mosaic	The output mosaic dataset to be created or updated. 注： An existing mosaic dataset must be a current BIS model mosaic dataset; a non-BIS model mosaic dataset, and therefore without the proper configuration, is not supported.	Mosaic Dataset
coordinate_system （可选）	The coordinate system of the output mosaic dataset. If one is not specified, the coordinate system of the active BIS is used. 警告： The coordinate system is only applied to new mosaic datasets; an existing mosaic dataset will retain its original spatial reference.
