Rotating a 3D view is a good way to get an overview of its contents. Animated rotation allows you to use a mouse gesture to start ArcScene rotating and then let it continue without further interaction with the view. The 3D view spins around the current target position when animated rotation is enabled. You can also adjust the rotation speed, the observation angle and zoom in and out while the 3D view rotates.
