How to center the scene using the camera target

Available with 3D Analyst license.

Follow the steps below to center the ArcScene view on a particular 3D location by setting the camera's target position.

  1. Click the Center On Target Center on Target button on the Tools toolbar.
  2. Click the location you want to occupy the center of the scene.
  3. The point you clicked is moved to the center of the view.

Tip:
You can look to a new target when using the 3D Navigate tool by pressing CTRL and clicking.
