How to change the visibility of an element within a KML file

Available with 3D Analyst license.

Follow the steps below to toggle the visibility of individual elements of a KML layer inside ArcGlobe:

  1. Click KML Contents KML Contents on the KML toolbar to toggle the visibility of the dockable KML Contents window.
  2. Choose the applicable KML layer from the drop-down list and expand the KML node tree.
  3. Check or uncheck an element's check box in the KML tree structure to set its visibility.
  4. The visibility of the KML element is updated.

Tip:
Unchecking a parent element's check box also hides all child elements.
