Zooming in and out in the Reviewer Overview window

Available with Data Reviewer license.

The Zoom In Tool and Zoom Out Tool commands in the Reviewer Overview window allow you to adjust the display within the window without changing the map extent.

For example, by default, the extent of the Reviewer Overview window is set to the extent of the first feature class in the table of contents. You may need to zoom in or out to a more appropriate extent.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, load data in the map.
  3. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Data Reviewer.
  4. Click the Reviewer Overview button Reviewer Overview Window on the Data Reviewer toolbar.

The Reviewer Overview window appears as a docked window in ArcMap.

  5. Right-click in the Reviewer Overview window and click Zoom In Tool.
  6. Click in the Reviewer Overview window and drag the pointer to zoom in to a particular area.
  7. To zoom out, right-click in the Reviewer Overview window and click Zoom Out Tool.
  8. Click in the Reviewer Overview window and drag the pointer to zoom out.
