You must be able to recover your data in the event of loss or corruption. DB2 provides several options for this.
Geodatabases stored in DB2 on the z operating system (z/OS) are made up of at least two databases. Be sure to restore all databases that make up the geodatabase when restoring to DB2 z/OS.
