You can tour the locations of all the elements of a KML layer inside ArcGlobe. Touring is like a controlled flight through the KML elements defined by settings such as the tour play order and how long to wait over each element before moving to the next.
Follow the instructions below to begin a tour of your KML contents. You need to have the KML toolbar added to the display and utilize the KML Contents window.
- Click the KML Contents button to toggle the visibility of the KML Contents window.
- Right-click the appropriate folder element in the KML tree structure from the KML Contents window and click KML Play Tour.
ArcGlobe zooms to each child node within the selected folder, pausing for one second at each location.
