The following geoprocessing tools will assist you in converting your raster surface into vector feature data or a file-based dataset. The raster is converted into feature data containing vector-based data extracted from the raster. Use these features for your visualization or analytic needs. These tools are located in the 3D Analyst toolbox and the Conversion > From Raster toolbox.
- To convert a raster to a multipoint feature class, use the Raster To Multipoint tool.
- To convert the interpolation zone of the input raster surface into a new 3D polyline or 3D polygon feature class, use the Raster Domain tool.
- To convert a raster to an external ASCII file, use the Raster To ASCII tool.
- To convert a raster to an external binary file of floating-point values, use the Raster To Float tool.
- To convert a raster to a point feature class, use the Raster To Point tool.
- To convert a raster to a polygon feature class, use the Raster To Polygon tool.
- To convert a raster to a polyline feature class, use the Raster To Polyline tool.
- To convert a raster to an external video file, use the Raster To Video tool.
