Available with 3D Analyst license.

When creating your 3D document, there are several ways you can add data. One of which is you can copy and paste layers between ArcMap, ArcGlobe, or ArcScene. Layers that are added to an appliation in this manner utilize the same source data as the layer you are copying from.

  1. Right-click the layer or multiple selected layers in the table of contents and click Copy.
  2. In ArcGlobe, right-click Globe Layers and click Paste Layer(s).
  3. In ArcScene, right-click Scene Layers and click Paste Layer(s).
Tip:
  • To select more than one layer, click the layer at the bottom of your selection, press SHIFT and click the layer at the top of your selection. Everything inbetween will automatically be selected. To select individual layers to include as a multiple selection, press CTRL and manually click each layer.
