Exporting a 3D VRML model in ArcScene

Available with 3D Analyst license.

In ArcScene, you can export your 3D view into an external VRML file.

  1. Click the File menu, point to Export Scene, then click 3D.
  2. Navigate to the location where you want to save the VRML model.
  3. Type a name for the VRML file.
  4. Click Export. The 3D view is exported as a VRML file.
  5. The exported VRML format can be viewed using interactive 3D graphics with standalone VRML viewers and web browser plug-ins.
Note:
If you just need a quick snapshot of a 3D view. Click the Edit menu and click Copy Scene to Clipboard. You can then paste the snapshot onto a layout or other document.
