Using the compressed file geodatabase data format

  1. Click the General tab on the Data Packaging dialog box.
  2. Click Compressed File Geodatabase in the Data Format drop-down list.
  3. Click the Extent tab and choose to include only the features that intersect the data frame or data frames in the map, or choose to include all the features in the data layer.
  4. Click OK to create a compressed file geodatabase data package.
  5. When creating a compressed data package, all the vector and raster data is converted to file geodatabase.
