Accessing layout view

  1. Click the View menu.
  2. Click Layout View.
  3. The ArcMap window displays the entire map and its surrounds.

Tip:
  • Not all maps have both data view and layout view. The map author may create the map with only one view. You can see if both views are available by using the Map Properties dialog box from the File menu.
  • Maps that contain globes do not have data frames or a layout view
