Adjusting layer transparency

1. On the Effects toolbar, choose a layer from the drop-down menu.
2. Click the Adjust Transparency tool and move the slider to set the transparency for the layer.

Tip:

• Transparency allows underlying layers to show through.
• The transparency setting is not saved in the published map.
