Using the Highlighter tool

  1. Check the Highlighter check box.

The current pen setting is used to highlight the map with semitransparent ink.

  2. Click in the map or begin writing with the Tablet PC pen anywhere on the map to begin highlighting.
Tip:
  • Ink that is written in data view is viewable in both data and layout view.
  • Ink that is written in layout view will only appear in layout view.
  • Labels are always drawn on top of graphics. When highlighting labels, the ink will fall behind the text.
