Overview
Track trade area change is used primarily to track trade area change over time. This tool can also be used to compare any two overlapping trade areas.
Input Prerequisites
Two overlapping trade areas.
Output
In the example below two threshold trade areas are shown. 10,000 population Drive-times have been derived from the underlying population blocks data from the 2010 Census.
Using the Trade Area Tools from the Trade Area Wizard the track trade area change can be determined and visually represented.
Differences between the two trade areas as well as the amount of trade overlap are enumerated in percentages.
