The Update MXDs tool automatically updates Business Analyst MXDs for versions 9.3.1 and higher to the current version. This helps you transition your map documents when newer versions of the software and datasets are released. Data and background layers are replaced and reconnected for "Business Analyst.mxd" and "Business Analyst Web.mxd" maps. You can set the directory to where your MXDs are saved.
The Update MXDs tool can be accessed through ArcCatalog or the Catalog window in ArcMap. The tool is located where you install Business Analyst Data (typically C:\arcgis\Business Analyst\<country>) at: \Datasets\UpdateMXDs.tbx\UpdateMXDs.
