Using the Quick Export tool

Available with Data Interoperability license.

  1. Find and open the Quick Export tool using the Search window Search.
  2. Drag one or more feature layers into the Input Features text box.
  3. Click the Output Dataset browse button.

    The Specify Data Destination dialog box opens.

  4. Click the Format browse button, choose a format from the FME Writer Gallery dialog box, then click OK.
  5. Click the Dataset browse button, navigate to the folder, type the name in the File name text box, then click Save.
  6. Click the Parameters button to edit the default FME writer parameters.

    Parameters can include optional and required settings and vary among formats.

  7. Click the Coordinate System browse button to define a spatial reference.

    This is optional.

  8. Click OK.

    The Specify Data Destination dialog box closes.

  9. Click OK to run the tool.
