Deleting groups from a batch job

Available with Data Reviewer license.

Groups are a means of categorizing the checks you have in a batch job. They differ from the categories for the checks in the Reviewer Batch Job Manager in that you can name them and use them to divide the checks according to the types of data you are checking. For example, you can categorize the checks according to the feature class types you are checking, such as Transportation, Hydrologic, and Vegetation. You can also divide the checks according to the types of relationships you are checking, such as Points and Polygons or Land and Water.

Groups can be deleted from a batch job as needed. When the group is deleted, the checks in the group are also removed from the batch job.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. On the main menu, click Customize > Toolbars > Data Reviewer.
  3. Click the Reviewer Batch Job Manager button Reviewer Batch Job Manager on the Data Reviewer toolbar.

The Reviewer Batch Job Manager dialog box appears.

  4. Click Open.

The Select Batch Job File dialog box appears.

  5. Navigate to the Reviewer batch job you want to open, then click Open.

The Reviewer Batch Job Manager dialog box appears with the contents of the batch job.

  6. Do one of the following:

    To delete a single group

Right-click the group to be deleted and click Delete Group.

    To delete multiple groups

Press CTRL or SHIFT and click to select multiple groups in the batch job, then right-click and click Delete Group.

The Delete Group dialog box appears.

  7. Click Yes to delete the selected group or groups.

The group is deleted from the batch job, as well as any checks included with the group.

  8. Save the batch job.
  9. Click OK.
