Accessing element properties from the Layout window

Available with Production Mapping license.

You can access element properties from the Layout window. Different element types will display different properties windows. For example, a data frame element will display the Data Frame Properties dialog box. A text element's properties dialog box displays an editor that allows you to change font characteristics.

1. If necessary, click the Layout window button on the Production Cartography toolbar to display the Layout window.
2. Click an element in the Layout window.
3. Right-click the element and select Properties.

   A properties dialog box appears.
