Inserting rows at the top or bottom of the table

Available with Production Mapping license.

The Row Top and Row Bottom options allow you to add only one row to the top or bottom of the currently selected row.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. Verify that you are in layout view if necessary.
  3. Right-click the graphic table element and click Properties.

    The Table Properties dialog box appears.

  4. Click the Table Format tab if necessary.

    The Table Format dialog box appears.

  5. Click Table Design.

    A Table Design dialog box appears, depending on the table format.

  6. Click a cell in the Table Layout area.
  7. Click Table Layout > Insert, and click one of the following:
    • Row Top—Add a row to the top of the selected row.
    • Row Bottom—Add a row to the bottom of the selected row.

    Tip:

    You can also right-click a cell in the Table Layout area and click Insert > Row Top or Insert > Row Bottom.
