Modifying element properties

Available with Production Mapping license.

Once a layout element is in the database, the Database Element dialog box provides the ability to modify the element's properties using the tree view. The Database Elements dialog box provides a user interface for an element library.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. On the main menu, click Insert > Database Element.

    The Database Element dialog box appears.

  3. Navigate to the element whose properties you want to view.
  4. Right-click the element and click Properties.

    The Element Properties dialog box appears.

  5. Change the element properties as needed.
  6. Click OK.

    The Database Element dialog box appears.

  7. Click Close.
