Publishing the WFS data

Available with Production Mapping license.

To publish the data you edited in ArcMap back to the service, you'll need to save your edits and stop the edit session. Follow these steps to publish.

Note:

The WFS must have transactional capability enabled to publish changes.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. In the Catalog window, right-click the service connection or an individual feature class under the service.
  3. Click Publish Features.
  4. Verify that the appropriate feature classes display in the dialog box.
  5. Click OK.

    Tip:

If you no longer want to retain the edits you made, click Discard Edits. This sets the data back to the current server state.

    Note:

To retrieve the current server state on any unmodified features, click the Get Latest Version option. This option refreshes all features that currently have no local edits.
