Toggling versioning and archiving for the components in a data model version

Available with Production Mapping license.

You can turn versioning and archiving on or off for each table, feature class, or dataset in a data model version. You can do this in the Data Model Version Properties dialog box. When the Version check box is checked, the table, feature class, or dataset in an desktop geodatabase, workgroup geodatabase, or enterprise geodatabase is versioned. The Archive check box enables or disables archiving. However, to edit the version information or the workspace, you need to create a new data model version.

  1. Start ArcMap.
  2. If necessary, open the Product Library window by clicking Customize > Production > Product Library on the main menu.

A tree view of the product library appears.

  3. Expand Product Library and Data Models.
  4. Right-click an existing data model version and click Properties.
