Coded value domains and subtypes are supported in LRS networks in Roads and Highways. Using the route loading tools, you can load multiple coded value domains and subtypes from your source routes to your LRS networks. Once successfully loaded into a network, subtypes can be combined with coded value domains when creating routes using the Roads and Highways editing tools in ArcGIS Pro.
Loading coded value domains and subtypes into an LRS
If your source routes contain coded value domains or subtypes, they will be loaded into your LRS Network when using the Roads and Highways Load Routes tool. String, short integer, and long integer coded value domains are supported. Subtypes must be short or long integers.
Any coded value domain or subtype field that is present in your source routes and mapped to your network feature class will automatically be added to your network feature class once the Roads and Highways Load Routes tool completes.
Creating routes with coded value domains and subtypes
Once coded value domains and subtypes are added to the LRS Network, they will appear when creating a route for that network.
