Importing workflow and map document associations for all users

Once associations between task assistant workflows and map documents have been exported, you can import them onto the machines of other Task Assistant Manager users so they can be used by others in the same organization. The import process updates the associations between the workflows and map documents.

By importing associations that apply to all users on a given machine, you can ensure that all the Task Assistant Manager users are using the most current associations between workflows and the associated map documents. This can be useful when you want to deploy associations across an organization; you can import the associations between existing workflows and map documents onto each machine.

  1. Click Start > Task Assistant Manager > Configuration Manager.

The (Administrator) Configuration Manager dialog box appears.

    Note:

If you do not have administrator privileges on the machine, the dialog box title is Configuration Manager, and you cannot change to Task Assistant designer mode.

  2. Click the MXD/Workflow Associations tab.
