Task Manager utilities

The Task Manager Utilities category in the Command Item Editor contains commands that may be useful during workflow creation. Commands are associated with specific workflow steps and allow a specific function to occur when you select that step in the task assistant workflow.

The Task Manager Utilities contains the following commands:

  • Activate Dockable Window—Displays a window in ArcMap
  • Activate Contents View—Displays the ArcMap table of contents with a specific view
  • Hide Toolbar(s)—Hides specific toolbars in ArcMap
  • Show Toolbar(s)—Displays specific toolbars in ArcMap
  • Toggle Toolbar Visibility—Toggles the visibility of specified toolbars
  • Execute Application—Executes an application
  • Execute Hyperlink—Opens a hyperlink embedded in the command
Note:

The window, contents view, and toolbar commands will work with both ArcGIS Desktop and any custom windows, contents view, and toolbars.
