Exporting configuration files

Available with Standard or Advanced license.

Prerequisite:

  • Installation of ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) Desktop
  • Creation of Workflow Database completed
  • Local connection to database set up

Workflow Manager (Classic) provides tools for administrators to export their own configuration to a JXL format. Exporting the configuration from within Workflow Manager Administrator will export only the configuration elements in your Workflow Manager (Classic) database. If jobs need to be exported along with the configuration, use the Export Job Data geoprocessing tool.

  1. From the Import/Export menu in Workflow Manager Administrator, click Export Configuration.

    The browse dialog box appears.

    Note:

The Import/Export menu is also available by right-clicking the database connection.

  2. Browse to a location to save the file.
  3. Click Save.

A message box appears with a status that the export is completed.
