Importing Workflow Manager (Classic) packages

Available with Workflow Manager license.

ArcGIS Workflow Manager (Classic) job types and workflows can be shared as packages and uploaded to an ArcGIS Enterprise portal. This allows organizations to distribute their workflows to the ArcGIS community using the ArcGIS Enterprise portal infrastructure.

  1. Open a web browser and go to https://www.arcgis.com.
  2. Sign in using your Global account.
  3. You can search for contents that are published by other users or retrieve contents that you published.
    • Type workflow packages in the Search ArcGIS Online text box and press Enter to find all packages that are shared to everyone.
    • To retrieve contents from your account, click the Content tab and click My Content to view packages that have been shared and to which you have access.
  4. Choose a Workflow Manager (Classic) package and click Download.

The workflow package is downloaded to your default download path.

  5. Download the Workflow Manager (Classic) package.
  6. Import the downloaded package into a Workflow Manager (Classic) repository.
    • From the Import/Export menu on the Workflow Manager Administrator window, click Import Workflow Manager Package.

    • Double-click the Workflow Manager (Classic) package from the file location it was downloaded to.

You are prompted to import the Workflow Manager (Classic) package into your default database. Click Yes to accept.
